Client of the Month - Phil Cole

Phil is one of our most loyal and long-standing clients. He has been attending group exercise classes twice per week for the last 14 years! He has seen a lot of changes to Active One, following us on our journey from venue to venue and with ever-changing Exercise Physiologists, he has stuck by us throughout.

Phil has noticed significant improvements in his muscle tone and weight control over his time with Active One. He enjoys the social aspect of our group classes and is always great fun at any of our past social catch ups. He reports having like-minded people and friends in the exercise group helps to keep him motivated.

Despite issues with chronic knee pain, Phil has continued with exercise and has managed to maintain his fitness. Keeping his knees strong using exercise has helped Phil stay active and complete the exercises and activities that he loves. Phil’s favourite exercise is skipping, although due to the knee pain some days are better than others!

Having retired last October, he has started bike riding and has been able to focus on his passion - playing golf 3 days per week. He has found that exercise significantly improves his golf swing.
