Client of the Month - Christine Claffey-Ross

Christine has been attending Active One exercise classes for over 10 years now. After covid and a fall late last year Christine returned to exercise classes with less fitness and more pain then ever before. She had increased pain in her glutes and knees preventing her from achieving her best results in class.

Christine took an proactive approach to her pain and started attending one-on-one appointments with Bec in addition to the group classes. She was given a home exercise program targeting these issues specifically. Now the pain in the glutes has gone and confidence in her knees has grown and is no longer frightened to jump.

“I would really encourage people who have a particular issue come and have a one-on-one with one of the exercise physiologists, because it made a huge difference to my life coming to see you. Not only my life coming here to the exercise class but my life in general. Being able to get around and do things, I can get down onto the ground with my grandkids which is very important to me.

I can’t believe how easy it was and how much money I have spent going to massages and chiropractic treatment and coming home without any exercises to do. So, it has been beneficial on lots of levels for me.”
