Shira graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2018. Prior to her Occupational Therapy studies Shira completed an undergraduate in Applied Science (Psychology), a degree which aided in broadening her awareness and understanding surrounding disability and mental health issues experienced by people in Australia and the world at large.
Through her past clinical placements Shira accumulated experience working in Acute General Medicine, Community Outpatient and Community Aged-Care settings.
Shira is a keen traveller, having completed two overseas volunteering programs in Southeast Asia. These experiences aided in enhancing her cultural awareness and competency. Shira brings with her knowledge from multiple OT sub-disciplines and a desire to promote health and general well-being to our clients through capacity building and client-centred care.
