About Occupational Therapy

 

Active One OTs work collaboratively to support a person’s participation in activities of daily life to achieve positive outcomes that support people to participate in their everyday activities. We prescribe assistive technology (aids and equipment), recommend major or minor home modifications, assess and design functional capacity programs, provide upper limb therapy, perform disability accommodation assessments (SIL & SDA), functional capacity assessments, conduct driver assessments, driver re-training and vehicle modifications, assist with palliative care and provide medico-legal reports. We can provide many of these services rural and regional areas with our new Hybrid Model of practice which combines teletherapy, video calls and face to face or onsite consulting.
